Why Forward Futures began
Forward Futures Group started with two people who had spent years in education, community services and support organisations, and who kept seeing the same gaps and hearing the same stories.
We met young people with real ability who couldn't find support that fitted. Some had switched off from school, some were short on confidence, and others simply weren't suited to the way traditional systems worked.
What happens to the young people who need something different?
That question stayed with us. It became the reason for creating Forward Futures: to build something different, shaped around the young people who need it.
